Prof. Mario Rosario Mazzola graduated with honors in civil engineering sect. Hydraulics, University of Palermo, April 1977. Master of Science in Infrastructure Planning and Management, Stanford University (USA), giugno 1985. University researcher at the Institute of Hydraulics, Faculty of Engineering, Palermo, since August 1983. Tenured Professor II fascia sector Hydraulic and Maritime Constructions and Hydrology at the Institute of Hydraulics of the Faculty of Engineering in Cagliari from November 1992 to October 1994 and at the Institute of Hydraulics of the Faculty of Engineering in Palermo from November 1994. Tenured Professor I fascia sector Hydraulic and Maritime Construction and Hydrology at the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Environmental Applications, Faculty of Engineering, University of Palermo, since November 2001. Author of about 120 publications in books, national and international journals and proceedings of national and international conferences on hydrology, hydraulic construction, water systems management and water resources economics.
